Oklahoma Baptist University has announced the signing of Concordia Lutheran High School (Texas) standout J.J. Kosa for women's soccer.

The daughter of Bob and Sunny Kosa, J.J. is an All-State honoree for Coach Ashley Karpinski. Kosa also was a two-time All-Tournament and three-time All-District selection, scoring 72 goals and 40 assists in her high school career. She helped Concordia Lutheran to three district titles and two State TAPPS 4A runner-up seasons. She was CLHS's MVP in 2010 and Offensive Player Award winner in 2009.

Kosa also is a two-time All-District pick in cross country and was a member of the school's two-time state championship choir. She also is an honor roll student with Student-Athlete Scholastic Awards. She plans to major in biology at OBU.

She also played for Albion Hurricanes 93gblue Division I club team under Coach Matt Veasey.

Kosa said she selected OBU because "OBU presents an opportunity for me to prepare myself with a great education and to play soccer while glorifying God."
