Oklahoma Baptist fell behind 1-0 in the second inning while SNU pitcher Tim Cole took a perfect game to the bottom of the third. Cole walked two and hit Jonathan Gelpi before Terrence Buchanan singled in a run to break up the shutout and no-hitter. The Bison left the bases loaded from there, however.

SNU took a 2-1 lead in the top of the fifth on a passed ball, but Buchanan came through with a second RBI single after Mitchell Prophet and singled and courtesy runner Jordan Newton moved into scoring position on a sacrifice and a ground out. OBU again left the bases loaded, however.

With one out, Prophet got his second hit of the game and Newton moved to second on a single by Jonathan Gelpi. Newton scored for the third time on a game-winning base hit by Chris Lemus.

OBU had just six hits in the contest with Buchanan and Prophet getting two apiece. Kyle Brule (2-1) got the win in relief, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings. Chad Hardison and Blake Gallacher limited the Storm to a combined one earned run on five hits into the seventh inning.

After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first of the second game, OBU got three in the bottom of the first with RBI singles by Anthony Lopez and Bam Davis, as well as a run-scoring wild pitch.

OBU added two in the third on a sacrifice fly by Michael Sliger and an RBI single by Reece Alnas.
Lopez added an RBI single in the fourth for a 6-1 lead.

Jesse Orozco (4-0) got the win, going five innings and allowing one run while fanning five. Daniel Marti pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit.

Lopez led OBU's seven-hit attack with two hits.

Now 26-5 overall and 11-1 in the SAC, the Bison host Southwestern Oklahoma State Tuesday at 6.
