Chase Lindsey won the men's individual title while Oklahoma Baptist won the women's team title in the OBU Invitational at the Shawnee Country Club Tuesday.

Lindsey shot a 73 on Tuesday after a first-round 81 to finish at 154 and three strokes ahead of runner-up Bo Sarratt of Rogers State.

Lindsey rattled off three birdies in a row on holes 9, 10 and 11 and added another on 13.

As a team, the Bison finished behind Rogers State by five strokes in second place. Rogers State won with a team 641, followed by OBU at 646, Mid-America Christian at 656, Seminole State at 659, John Brown at 664 and Southwestern Christian at 672.

For the Bison, Zach Myers was seventh at 161, shooting 80 and 81, followed by Todd Balkin in 14th with an 85 and an 80 for 165. Chase Bryant was 18th at 168 with an 85 and an 83, while Ethan Fine shot 88 and 81 for 169 and 20th place.

Colton Holland of OBU was 27th at 175, shooting 85 and 90.

But the tournament belonged to the Lady Bison, who got their first win of the season.

OBU trimmed 19 strokes off its first round score to shoot a 365 and overtake Northwestern Oklahoma State, which had a one-stroke lead entering the final round.

Amanda Dixon of NWOSU won the individual title with a 164, shooting 85 and 79.

The Lady Bison won with a 749, followed by Northwestern at 771, Rogers State at 773 and Seminole State at 822.

Marisa Cones led OBU in third place at 180, firing a 92 and an 88. Sarah Codner was sixth at 190 with a 96 and a 94, with Kali Schmidt in seventh at 193 with a 100 and a 93.

Brittany Beckett, JoBeth Hamon and Gabriella Dellick tied for ninth at 195. Beckett and a 105 and a 90, while Hamon had a 96 and a 99 and Dellick shot 98 and 97.

Brittainy Barina was right behind in 12th at 199 on a 101 and a 98. Amanda Hillemeyer finished 17th at 210 on a 102 and a 108.

OBU returns to action next week at the Southwestern Christian Tournament.
