The Lady Bison took the lead in the first half on a Courtney Anderson goal in the 29th minute, but the Coyotes tied things up with a goal from Araceli Sanchez five minutes later.

After a 1-1 first half, Kansas Wesleyan broke the tie in the 76th minute on a goal by Katie Janes.

The Lady Bison had eight shots in the game, including four on goal. Mackenzie Bruton had two shots on goal and Anderson and Allie Preston had one apiece.

Shannon Griffith had a save in goal for OBU, playing the first 72 minutes.

OBU returns to action Tuesday in its Sooner Athletic Conference opener at Mid-America Christian.
