Elisa Brito bounced a free kick form midfield over the head of Lubbock Christian's goalkeeper to give Oklahoma Baptist a 4-3 double overtime Sooner Athletic Conference road win Thursday.



Lubbock Christian took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute with a goal from Katlyn Settle but Amanda Vinsant scored to knot the score with 10:33 left in the first half.


Courtney Anderson scored 3:18 into the second half for a 2-1 Lady Bison lead, only to have Stacy-Ann Johnson tie the score at 2-2 67 seconds later. Anderson sent in a shot off of a deflection two minutes after that to give OBU a 3-2 edge.


Johnson tied the game for the Lady Chaps with 20 minutes left in regulation.


The match was scoreless form there until the goal by Brito with 4:18 showing on the second overtime clock.


Nataley Johnson and Marta Venegas had one assist each.


OBU had 22 shots and tested LCU's keeper 11 times. Anderson and Brito put four shots on goal each, followed by Vinsant, Mackenzie Bruton and JJ Kosa with one each.


Now 2-1 in the SAC and 3-7 overall, the Lady Bison return to action Saturday morning with an 11 a.m. match at Wayland Baptist.
