Oklahoma Baptist scored twice in the first half and held on for a 2-2 at
Rogers State Saturday night in Sooner Athletic Conference women's
soccer action.
The tie gives the Lady Bison a chance to host a first round playoff game despite starting the season at 1-7. If the Lady Bison win their finale at home Tuesday against St. Gregory's and Rogers State loses at John Brown, OBU will move into fourth in the conference standings and host RSU in the first round.
OBU got the first goal of the game with 14:04 left in the first half when J.J. Kosa blasted one into the goal from 30 yards out.
Kariny Delahaye beat Chelsea McMullen, the 14th-ranked keeper in the NAIA, for a 2-0 lead with 1:26 left in the first half.
OBU couldn't hold the lead in the second half, but held on for the tie.
The Lady Bison are now 6-9-2 overall and 5-3-2 in the SAC.
