Oklahoma Baptist took its second men's golf tournament in a row to cap
the fall schedule, capturing Texas Lutheran's John Bohmann Memorial
Invitational Tuesday.
OBU finished with a three-round 870 to outdistance Texas Lutheran by a dozen strokes in the 13-team tournament, including three ranked in the NCAA Division III Top 25.
Xavier Diana led the Bison with a fourth-place effort, shooting 72-71-73 for 216. Clement Batut bounced back from a first-round 78 with a 71 and a 68 to finish tied with teammate Chase Lindsey in fifth place at 217. Lindsey shot 75-70-72. Batut's 68 on the final round matched the low score for the round.
Alex Hamilton was 13th overall at 224, firing off a 74 between a pair of 75s. Arnaud Cotton was 23rd at 229, using a 74, a 79 and a 76.
No Bison shot over a 79 in any round of the tournament.
