Edmond North High School linebacker Bryndon Pitzer has signed to play football at Oklahoma Baptist University.

Pitzer, an Oil Bowl nominee, was 6A-2 Linebacker of the Year and MVP for Coach Jeremy Dombek. He helped North, as a captain, to the 6A quarterfinals twice and was Edmond Defensive Player of the Year and Vype Central Oklahoma First-Team.

The son of David Pitzer and Kara Gilbert, Bryndon will major in pre-med at OBU.

"I felt like OBU was the place God wanted me to be," Pitzer said.
