Colorado State receiver Derek Serowski has signed and will transfer to Oklahoma Baptist for his sophomore season of college football.
Serowski played at Southmoore High School under first-year OBU Coach Chris Jensen.
He initially signed in February 2010 with Central Oklahoma, but after leading his high school to the state track championship later that spring, winning a pair of individual state titles as well as two relay crowns, began drawing interest from several schools, including Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Arkansas.
He won the 100 and 200 and has turned in a 4.48 40.
He caught 73 passes for 1271 yards in his last two season while battling illness. He was an All-District and honorable mention All-State receiver.
The son of Janet and Jay Brannon, Serowski will major in business.
Serowski said he is transferring "to make a better life for myself."
