A 5-7 outside hitter/defensive specialist, Coroiescu was All-District her senior season under Coach Katherine Stephenson. A four-year varsity member, she went from Most Improved her freshman season to Best Offensive Player by her junior year. She second-team All-District as a junior and Best Hitter as a senior.

She also plays for Renegades 18 National for Coach Shannon Waddy.

A four-time Academic All-District, Coroiescu plans to major in exercise and sports science at OBU. She is the daughter of Adelin and Ronela Coroiescu of New Caney, Texas.

“I chose OBU because I loved the Christian environment, people, team and everything else as soon as I walked on campus,” said Coroiescu. “I feel like I really belong here.”
