Oklahoma Baptist has added Elgin High School's Shawn Marshall to its men's track team for the 2012-13 season.

Marshall won the regional in the 100 meters this year and was third in the State Meet last year for Elgin under Coach Jon Hughes. His top times are 10.94 in the 100 and 22.15 in the 200.

He is the son of Emily and Matthew Marshall.

"I chose OBU because it is a great place to learn and the school is filled with great people," Marshall said.
