Oklahoma Baptist has signed Miami wide receiver Jacob Cheatham for the 2013 football season.

While in high school Cheatham was coached by Rock Woods, and was an All-Conference receiver.

Cheatham, the son James and Samantha Cheatham, is in the Top 20 in his graduating class and plans on pursuing optometry while at OBU.

He chose to come to OBU because "I believe I can fit into the program well, and at the same time become a better athlete and person."
