Western Oklahoma State College's LeNae Sanchez will transfer to Oklahoma Baptist for the 2012-13 softball season.

Sanchez, an All-Region shortstop and outfielder from Temple City, Calif., batted .309 with 11 home runs, eight doubles and 45 RBI this season for the Coach Mike McBrayer's squad.

She is the daughter of David and Christine Sanchez and plans to major in sociology.

"OBU has a good sociology program and I believe I can become a better softball player there," Sanchez said.
