Van Alstyne High School (Texas) receiver Jared Ramsey has signed with Oklahoma Baptist University's football team.

Under Coach Mikael Miller, Ramsey had 28 catches for 378 yards, a touchdown and a 13.5 yards per reception average. He also had 37 tackles, two interceptions and two deflections at cornerback.

Ramsey was First-Team All-District at received and honorable mention All-District as a cornerback his senior season, helping the team to area and bi-district titles. VAHS was 27-8 in his three seasons.

The son of Freddy and Leasa Ramsey, Jared plans to major in physical education or business.
