
East Central University sophomore Hayden Darst will transfer to Oklahoma Baptist to continue his basketball career.
The 6-9, 255-pound center started 26 of ECU's 27 games as a freshman and all 26 of this season's contests. He averaged 7.4 points and 4.7 points his sophomore season. He also led the team in blocked shots.
Darst had a career-best 17 points against Angelo State and also turned in double-doubles against Rockhurst (13 points, 12 rebounds) and Park (15 points, 11 rebounds).
He was an OBCA All-Star selection in 2010 at Antlers High School, where his best game was a 29-point, 13-rebound outing against Tushka.
Darst is a biology major.
