Southwestern College (Kan.) athlete Braxton Wenk will transfer and play football at Oklahoma Baptist.

At Altus High School, Wenk played for Coach Lynn Hepner.

He served as a page to the State Senate and participated in Boys State, Cadet Lawman Academy, the AHS Chamber Choir and was an honor roll student. He intends to major in history and minor in religion.

"Academically, OBU is superior to all schools in the region," Wenk said. "Spiritually, you are hard-pressed to find a school that not only promotes building your faith, but also gives you an education that teaches you how to apply both in the working world."
