Oklahoma Baptist has signed Navarro College catcher/utility player Erin McLeod.

McLeod, a sophomore from McKinney, Texas, played at Frisco Liberty High School and was a three-time All-District performer under Coach Martha Richard. She also played for the USSSA World Champion Texas Travelers.

At Navarro, she batted .377 with a .529 on-base percentage for Coach Jessica Karenke-Burke.

The daughter of Jenee Violett, Erin plans to major in pre-med.

"(OBU) is an amazing school and has a fantastic program," McLeod said. "I feel I can grow as a person and a player by attending this school."
