Oklahoma Baptist sent roughly half its squad to the Kansas State All-Comers meet Saturday and brought back qualifying times a number of events.

Marissa Moseley won the 300 meters in 40.24 seconds while Sarah Patterson was fourth at 42.14 and Shondia Drew sixth at 42.26.

Alyssa Montegut placed fifth in the 600 yards at 1:28.69.

Brianna Shippy was fifth in the 60 meter hurdles, qualifying in 9.44 seconds. Shippy also won the pole vault, clearing with a qualifying 11-5.75 in a jump-off. Nicole Cummings qualified in the triple jump in third place with a 37-10.5.

While OBU's "A" relay team was disqualified, the "B" team qualified in 4:04.27.

For the men, Olasubomi Bashorun was ninth in the 60 meters, qualifying in 6.89 seconds. He also placed second in the 300 meters at 35.20. Ethan Mignard was fifth in the 300 at 35.59.

Billy Christy and Adam Betterton went 1-2 in the 600 yards. Christy won in 1:13.39, with Betterton just off at 1:13.49.

Jonathan Hilton and Derek Douglas both qualified in the 60 meter hurdles. Hilton was third at 8.34, while Douglas was sixth at 8.54. Seth Brown and Hilton finished first and second in the pole vault. Brown won with a qualifying height of 16-0.75, while Hilton was runner-up with a qualifying 15-7.

OBU was third in the 4x400 with a qualifying time of 3:18.81.

The Bison and Lady Bison are back in action Jan. 9 at the Arkansas Invitational.
