OBU split two games at Rogers State in Sooner Athletic Conference baseball action Saturday, winning a 3-0 shutout in the opener before losing 14-4 in a run-rule in the nightcap.

Tyler Duran struck out six and scattered five hits to put the clamps on the Hillcats.

OBU broke a scoreless tie in the sixth on an RBI ground out by Chad Dawkins. Billy Thomas came up with a two-run single in the top of the seventh for the 3-0 advantage.

OBU had seven singles in the game by seven different players.

The Bison scored all four runs of the second game in the second inning for a 4-0 lead. Dawkins was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Josh Collazo hit a three-run double.

Rogers State answered with 14 runs over the final four innings.

Collazo, Justin Trejo and Billy Jarka had two hits each among OBU's seven hits.

Now 24-10 overall and 6-9 in the SAC, the Bison will host Sterling Monday.
