The Bison Invitational saw Oklahoma Baptist meet 11 automatic national meet qualifying standards and five more ‘B' standards Saturday in Shawnee.

Marissa Moseley won both the 100 and the 200, meeting the qualifying standard in the 200 meters at 24.50. She won the 100 in 12.13 seconds.

Verone Chambers won the 400 meters with an automatic qualifying mark of 1:03.96.

Natalie Pedersen qualified in the 3000 meter steeplechase in a winning time of 11:25.49. Brianna Shippy qualified in the pole vault, clearing 11-7 for the win.

The Lady Bison hit automatic marks in all three relays, winning each event. The 4x100 team won in 47.36 seconds, the 4x400 team won in 3:52.16 and the 4x800 finished in 9:34.55.

Sarah Patterson won the 400 meters in a B standard time of 57.79 seconds.

Nicole Cummings met the B standard in the in the triple jump at 37-4.

Other event winners for the Lady Bison were Alyssa Montegut in the 800 (2:18.46) and Olivia Boisse in the discus (122-5).

For the men, Pierien Iniss won the 200 meters in an automatic qualifying time of 21.35, while Wit Williams was second with a B standard mark of 21.68.

John Armstrong met the qualifying standard in the discus with a toss of 157-2.

The men's 4x100 relay team won and met the automatic standard at 41.08 and the 4x400 team also qualified, winning in 3:15.49. The OBU 4x800 relay squad was first with a B standard mark of 7:48.76.

Also winning their events for the OBU men were Brock Stoltzfus in the steeplechase at 9:40.04, David Gillilland in the pole vault at 14-6, Armstrong in the hammer throw at 157-2, and Jonathan Hilton in the javelin at 165-4.

OBU next competes in Baylor's Michael Johnson Classic on April 18.
