Oklahoma Baptist had its men's tennis season end one win short of a national tournament berth Saturday in the finals of the NAIA Unaffiliated #4 Men's National Qualifier at the University of Oklahoma. 

The No. Bison lost to 17th-ranked Oklahoma Christian in the finals, 5-2.

OBU got wins from Gustavo Schaeffer in No. 4 doubles and from the No. 2 doubles tandem of Peter McCorkle and Sergej Babic.

Schaeffer knocked off Florian Thies in a 7-6, 6-4 match. McCorkle and Babic held on for an 8-5 win.

Oklahoma Christian took the pivotal No. 3 doubles match 8-6.

The Bison had reached the championship by sweeping past University of the Southwest, 9-0
