Oklahoma Baptist blew past Oklahoma Wesleyan in a duel cross country meet that also included runners from Oklahoma City Friday night in Shawnee.

The Lady Bison finished with a perfect score of 15 and had the first 11 runners across the finish line. The OBU men had the first four runners and had to settle for a near-perfect score of 16 and OBU's middle distance runners finished ahead of Oklahoma Wesleyan in the points totals as well.

Natalie Pedersen won the women's 3200 meter run in 12:13, followed by Kayla Lee in 12:27 and Danielle Cummins in 12:36. Meredith Gardner was fourth at 12:43 and Sarah Taylor fifth in 12:44 to round out the 15 points.

Aubrie Dolliver was sixth in 12:45 and Yesenia Avila was seventh in 12:49.

The eighth through 11th place runners were Jessica Herbert in 12:52, Sara Branson in 13:04, Tatiana Stoltzfus in 13:12 and Brandy Moore in 13:22.

Micah Jenner broke the OBU string in 12th at 13:23.

OBU's Amy McCarthy was 13th at 13:24 and Erica Rackley was 14th in 13:41.

Former Bison Brock Stoltzfus ran unattached and won the men's 5k in 15:54.

Justin Stroup was the first counted runner to cross, coming in at 16:19. Trevor Martin was second at 16:28, followed by Ben Moore at 16:32 and Jordan Sinclair in 16:41.05.

David Rannabarger of OWU was in sixth at 16:41.87.

Nick Hermes rounded out the OBU scoring in sixth at 16:48.76. Also for the Bison, Dustin O'Day was 10th at 16:51 and Ryan Brooks was 13th at 17:06.
