For the first time since taking over as regional hosts, Oklahoma Baptist has been shut out of the ITA Nationals (full results) as Oklahoma Christian claimed all four berths Saturday in Shawnee.

Renardy Guelfi defeated his Oklahoma Christian teammate Esteban Flores for the singles berth, 7-6 (7-1), 5-7, 7-5, in the tightest championship of the day.

OBU's Paola Costa gave the Lady Bison a chance at representation, but could not overcome leg cramps and numerous close calls in a 3-6, 7-5, 10-7 loss to Oklahoma Christian's Olfa Dhaoui in the women's championship.

Dhaoui and Maja Plavsic won the women's doubles, 8-4, over Southern Nazarene's Olga Kozhevnikova and Viktoria Lukinova.

Guelfi and Flores topped Oklahoma Baptist's Gustavo Schaefer and Bruno Scacalossi in the men's doubles championship, 8-2.

OBU picked up a consolation title with Diana Barns and Mariana Rosa winning the doubles consolation title, 8-2, over Hilary Galbright and Kimberly Weidmann of SNU.
