Oklahoma Baptist picked up a hard-fought 3-0 Sooner Athletic Conference road win Tuesday at Mid-America Christian, 25-20, 25-20 and 25-21. 

Tamy Leipelt and Tarah Derden had 13 kills apiece in the match with Derden making the most of her 23 swings for a .435 attack percentage. Sabra Clark had 35 assists and Suyan Leipelt contributed three aces.

Cassie Winker had 25 digs and Brittany Palmer had 14. Suyan Leipeltled with two blocks.

With the first set tied at 14-14, the Suyan Leipelt delivered two aces and a block to lead OBU on a 5-1 run for a 19-15 edge.

In the second set, OBU blew open a 3-3 game with a 12-2 run, including three kills and a block by Derden.

The Lady Bison trailed 6-3 in the third set before launching an 8-1 run with Tamy Leipelt getting an ace and a kill to fuel the rally.

Now 23-8 overall and 4-4 in the SAC, the Lady Bison host John Brown Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
