Oklahoma Baptist sophomore Courtney Anderson produced two goals to tie the school season record with 14, but the Lady Bison suffered a 3-2 setback at the hands of Oklahoma City University in Shawnee Tuesday.

OBU trailed 2-0 on a pair of Sarah Leonard goals in the first 12:14 of the match.

Anderson scored in the 43rd minute with an assist from Lin Yan to make it a 2-1 game at halftime.

Anderson tied the record and the match just 4:20 into the second half with an assist from Kirsten Morrow. With the goal, Anderson tied Katya Arruda's 14-goal season in 2004.

But the day belonged to Leonard. The defending Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week registered her second hat trick in as many weeks, scoring in the 61st minute for what turned out to be the game-winner.

OCU out-shot the Lady Bison 22-10 and Lady Bison keeper Sarah Kathryn Robinson had six saves. The OBU women had just one shot on goal turned away by Brittany Tibbs.

Now 9-6 overall and 4-3 in the SAC, the Lady Bison play at Wayland Baptist at 3 p.m., Friday.
