Oklahoma Baptist is ranked fifth in Sooner Athletic Conference rankings and pulled six national poll points in the NAIA Baseball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll.

The six points puts the Bison in 43rd in the national poll.

Lubbock Christian is ranked No. 1 in the Top 25 poll, while Oklahoma City is ranked third, Wayland Baptist is 18th and Southern Nazarene is 26th.

The first regular season poll is set for March 30. OBU has 35 games on the schedule prior to that poll.

In addition to the 12 Sooner Athletic Conference games against the top 26 teams, Coach Bobby Cox's Bison also has two home games March 10 against No. 19 Cumberland following two home games on March 9 against vote-getter Sterling College.

OBU was 37-17 last season and ended the year on a seven-game win streak.
