Oklahoma Baptist battled hard but lost its 2010 men's tennis opener to the University of Oklahoma Saturday, 7-2.

OBU's only wins were in default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Gustavo Schaeffer lost a heart-breaker to Chris Fotopoulos in No. 4 singles in three sets, 6-7 (7-5), 6-2, 10-5.

Sergej Babic and Marko Stanic lost in No. 2 doubles to Fotopoulos-Pulti, 8-6. Babic lost a tough one in No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1, to Costin Paval.

Now 0-1, the Bison will play Seminole State in an exhibition at Willow Creek in Oklahoma City.
