After Oklahoma Baptist opened the 2010 softball season with a 7-1 win over 2009 National Tournament entrant Missouri Valley Friday morning in the Cowtown Classic in Fort Worth, Texas, they followed up with a two more wins.

The Lady Bison got a 6-5 walk-off win against Sterling College and then knocked off host Texas Wesleyan 3-0.
Sonya Beach (2-0) picked up the wins in the latter two games.

Sterling rallied to tie the game in the top of the seventh inning but Ashley Clifton was hit by a pitch to start the seventh. And took third on a single by Alison Tunnel and scored on a sacrifice fly by Kylie King.

Tunnel, King, beach and Kaylee Dickerson all had RBI in the game, with Dickerson getting two. Abbey Basler and Tunnel had two hits each.

Beach shut out Texas Wesleyan on three hits.

Clifton had three hits for the Lady Bison, including an RBI and a double. Tunnel had an RBI double and Dickerson had a double and a sacrifice fly.

Amanda Hanner held Missouri Valley to a run on three hits while striking out two to pick up the win in the season opener.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first OBU got a successful squeeze bunt by Ashley Clifton to tie the score in the first.

Clifton added an RBI double and Alison Tunnel had a two-run single to give OBU a 4-1 lead in the third.
Clifton, Tunnel and Sonya Beach had RBIs in a three-run fourth for the final margin.

Tunnel and Kaley Dickerson had two hits each to spearhead OBU's seven-hit attack.

Missouri Valley was 34-23 last year and champions of the Heart of America Conference.

Now 3-0, the Lady Bison play Texas Wesleyan again at 8 a.m. Saturday in the start of bracket play.
