Oklahoma Christian had just enough firepower to outlast Oklahoma Baptist for a Sooner Athletic Conference baseball sweep Thursday, 4-2 and 6-5.

OBU lost the first game in extra innings.

Kyle Brule tossed an impressive seven innings in the opener, fanning 14 and allowing just one earned run, but the unearned run in the first inning and a four-hit offense kept OBU from completing his day with a win.

The Eagles scored when a stolen base of third turned into a run in the first on a throwing error. OC went ahead 2-0 in the fifth on an RBI single by Jordan Price.

The Bison tied the game in the bottom of the fifth after getting their first hit off of Kennedy Winn. Trejo singled to break up the no-hitter and moved to second on a ground out. After a walk and a wild pitch, Billy Jarka produced a two-run single to knot things up.

Zac Coshow blasted a two-run home run in the top of the eighth to saddle Jesse Orozco with the loss.

Trejo finished the game with two of OBU's four hits.

In the second game, the Eagles got out to a 1-0 lead in the first on a Price sacrifice fly, but OBU took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the inning on an RBI double by Jarka and a two-run home run by Bam Davis.

OBU made it 4-1 in the second on an RBI single by Sean Iago, but the Bison left the bases loaded.

The Eagles scored three in the fifth to tie the game, using an RBI triple by Heath Steele, and RBI single by Dillon Andrews and a sac fly by Dustin Andrews.

Trailing 6-4 in the seventh, OBU scored a run on an error, but left two other runners in scoring position.
Now 9-3 overall and 0-2 in the SAC, the Bison play at Oklahoma Christian Saturday at 1 p.m.
