Oklahoma Baptist gave up 26 hits and lost a Sooner Athletic Conference softball doubleheader at Rogers State Tuesday, 11-6 and 9-2.

The Lady Bison also struggled defensively, allowing eight unearned runs on the day.

OBU opened the first game with a two-run first, but gave up 10 runs over the next three innings. A three-run fifth kept the game alive, but OBU got no closer than the five-run margin.

Kylie King had her second home run of the season and finished with three of OBU's nine hits and four of the teams five RBI in the opener. Abbey Basler had two hits and Kaley Dickerson added an RBI.

Cassidi Henderson took the loss in the opener and Amanda Hanner got the pitching  loss in the second game. Sonya Beach had an inning of scoreless relief in each game.

The Lady Bison had five hits in the second game, including a double and a single by Basler. Alison Tunnell and King each had an RBI.

Now 5-5 on the season, OBU hosts fifth-ranked Lubbock Christian Thursday at noon.
