Oklahoma Baptist racked up a dozen hits and grabbed a 10-4 win over Bacone in Muskogee Tuesday.
Justin Trejo led the Bison with three hits and five RBI. Anthony Ramirez added three hits and Victor Manzano and Anthony Lopez had two hits each.
Ramirez doubled and scored on a single by Trejo in the second inning for a 1-0 lead, but Bacone tied it in the third with an unearned run.
Ramirez got OBU the lead back with a solo home run in the fourth, but the Warriors again tied it with one in the bottom of the inning.
The Bison took the lead for good in a five-run sixth inning. Trejo had a two-run home run, Austin Berg added a sacrifice fly and Billy Jarka and Lopez came through with two-out RBI singles.
Bacone closed to within 7-4 in the seventh, but Richie Morowski struck out five of the six hitters he faced to pick up the save.
OBU tacked on three more in the ninth and cruised home. Ramirez had an RBI double and Trejo added a two-run single.
Joey Green picked up the win to move to 1-0 on the season.
Now 11-3, OBU play at Rogers State Thursday at 5 p.m.
