Oklahoma Baptist University has signed 5-5 point guard Lauren Crenshaw
to play basketball in the 2010-11 season.
Crenshaw played at Newcastle under former Lady Bison Casi Bays. Crenshaw has been selected to play in the Jim Thorpe All-State Game and is a Little All-City honorable mention.
Crenshaw averaged 13 points, five rebounds and five assists at Newcastle.
"We are very fortunate to sign Lauren," said OBU head coach John McCullough. "She understands the game, is a very good shooter with range, and a willing passer. Lauren will develop into one of the best guards in the SAC."
