Shawnee businessman Rick Cody is in his seventh season as men's and women's golf coach at OBU.

His OBU teams have achieved a new level of success, earning national attention. His 2005 women's golf team reached the NAIA Tournament as the first Lady Bison golf team to do so.

He graduated from Healdton High School in 1973 with an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. He attended East Central University and Oklahoma State University.

Cody owns Crafter's Showplace in Shawnee.
