Strahm returns for her fourth and final season with the Lady Bison after being named Second-Team All-Conference the past three seasons. She was also First-Team All-District from 2007-2009, a two-year MVP hitter, and an All-State player under the coaching of Trent Tharp at Royse City High School. The daughter of Greg, a former football player at Kansas State, and Erin, Strahm was recruited by Texas Tech and Dallas Baptist, but chose OBU for the "Christian atmosphere, great community, and competitive volleyball program."
