Trejo hit .404 with 69 hits, 54 RBI, 15 doubles and nine home runs at Chabot Community College. A strong offensive threat, Trejo was named to the Chabot All-Decade Team, going along with First-Team All-America and All-Conference honors. He is expected to be a cog in the middle of the batting order. He is a graduate of Granada High School and is the son of Stacy Patterson and Mark Trejo.
