Chase was All-NAIA Tournament last season as a freshman, finishing 13^th in the title meet and leading the Bison to its best finish ever in ninth place. He was named a Ping All-West Region selection by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He also was All-Sooner Athletic Conference, placing fifth at the SAC Championship. Chase graduated from Christian Heritage Academy where he won state as a junior, was runner-up as a senior and fourth as a sophomore. He averaged 72.4 his senior season.
