Anthony was a first-team All-Conference pick and honorable mention All-America for the Bison in 2010, hitting .440 with 11 home runs. He was All-Conference, All-Region and the Big Stick Award winner at San Diego Mesa College. He was a two-time MVP, All-conference and Freshman of the Year at Monte Vista High School. Anthony is the son of Francisco and Amy and the brother of Javier Lopez. Recruited by Southern Nazarene, Point Loma Nazarene, CSU-San Marcos, Lee and Lindenwood, Anthony chose OBU "to represent and win a championship."
