Sliger is in his junior season after a redshirt year at OBU in 2010. He was first-team All-League at Oxnard College. He was All-League in baseball and football at Adolfo Camarillo High School under Coach Richard Jaquez. He is the son of Evie and Tim and the brother of Brittany and Brooke Sliger. Recruited by Palm Beach Atlantic, Graceland and Savannah State, he chose OBU because of the "great baseball environment."
