Taylor played in 17 games, starting five as a freshman last season. He was All-State and All-District under Coach Tom Pecore art Putnam City North High School. Taylor is the son of Rick and Teri Thompson and the brother of Tallie Thompson. Recruited by Bethel, Hannibal LaGrange and Southern Nazarene, Taylor came to OBU because "I liked the coaches, program and the campus and I was interested in a good education at a liberal arts university."
