The daughter of Chuck and Kathy Henkes, Alyssa returns to the Lady Bison for her final season. The holder of the Single Season Hits record, as well as the career triples record, Alyssa chose OBU because "location, location, location" is the best philosophy, "and I just love all the girls on the team." From Deer Creek High School, Alyssa was coached by Ron Moore. She was an All-State Alternate in 2007, and was part of the 2003 State Championship team. She was also recruited by Hendrix, University of the Ozarks, and Oklahoma Christian.
