From Buhach Colony High School, Andrea is the daughter of Brad and Angela Machado. She was Chisholm Trail All-Conference, Second-Team All-Conference, Gold Honor Chord, and was in the top ten in her class. She was coached by Bobby Dallas. Andrea's grandfather, Robert Kuntz, played basketball at OBU. A member of the Dean's Honor Roll, Andrea chose OBU because of "the strong academics, ministry opportunities, and competitive softball team."
