Oklahoma Baptist avenged an earlier loss to host William Carey, but saw its baseball season end with a 7-4 loss at the hands of Northwood Saturday in the NAIA Opening Round in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Oklahoma Baptist saw its season extended with a 10-inning win over South Carolina-Beaufort that ended early Saturday morning, 3-2, in the NAIA Opening Round tournament in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Eric Fredrick (7-2) pitched all 10 innings, striking out eight and preserving the Bison bullpen in the process.

Oklahoma Baptist spotted Central Methodist four first-inning runs but rallied for a 7-6 victory in the NAIA Opening Round Baseball Tournament in Hattiesburg, Miss., Friday.

If Oklahoma Baptist wins the Hattiesburg NAIA Opening Round site, it will have to come through the losers bracket and win five straight after a 7-3 loss to host William Carey Thursday.

The Bison will be joined by host William Carey, Northwood (Texas), Central Methodist and South Carolina-Beaufort.

Page leads the NAIA with 81 RBI and is second nationally with 17 home runs. The junior first baseman from Redwood City, Calif., also leads the Bison with a .396 batting average.
