Lynsie Watkins

Lynsie Watkins joined the OBU Sports Medicine staff in 2016, working primarily with track and cross country.
 
She earned her master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2015 and her B.A. in health and exercise science from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. She also holds an associate’s degree in health, physical education and recreation from Western Oklahoma State College.
 
Watkins’s licenses and certificates include NATABOC, Athletic Trainer, CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens training and administering emergency oxygen.
 
She served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at UCO during the 2015-16 academic year.
 
Watkins has volunteered at PRCA rodeo events, NCAA Basketball and Softball Tournaments, the Big XII Women’s Basketball Tournament, Oklahoma Special Olympics, Oklahoma Memorial Marathon, Endeavor Games, Oklahoma Red Man Triathlon and with the OU women’s basketball team.
 
She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Mid-American Athletic Trainers’ Association, Oklahoma Athletic Trainers’ Association, Athletic Training Student Association at UCO and Iota Tau Alpha.
